A call for expressions of interest for the position of Chair of the Equal Opportunities in Nephrology Committee

Dr Alison Brown will step down from the post in 2012 when she assumes the role of Honorary Secretary.  The Renal Association would like to thank Alison Brown for her commitment thus far and wish her well in her new role.

The main task of the Chair of the Equal Opportunities in Nephrology Committee is to support the Renal Association’s commitment to support and develop equality of opportunity across the Renal Association, initially concentrating on the response to Baroness Deech’s 2009 report ‘Women Doctors: Making a Difference’. The Chair of the Committee will act as a conduit for exchange of ideas between nephrologists from arenas which are under-represented at leadership levels in dealings with the RA Executive Committee, and other relevant organisations, providing leadership in supporting the change agenda.
