UK Advanced Nephrology Course

Registration now open for the annual UK Advanced Nephrology Course organised by The Renal Association.

The annual UK Advanced Nephrology Course (ANC), organised by the Renal Association, remains an important learning event for trainees in the UK and further afield, especially those preparing for the forthcoming specialist exam in nephrology in February 2021 and consultants wanting an update.

Due to the COVID-19 challenges, this year's UK Advanced Nephrology Course will be online, with a series of lectures and live questions and answer sessions and live workshops during the second and third week of January 2021.

  • All plenary lectures will be prerecorded and available 5 days prior to the event date.
  • The Q&A sessions will be live but a recording will be added to the site afterwards.
  • Workshops are all live sessions.
  • All recorded sessions will be available up to 5 months after the event via the website.

The Advanced Nephrology Course has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 23 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s).

To maximise flexibility to delegates and minimize costs, participants can attend part or all of the lecture series and the workshops, the latter of which is limited to 60 participants in each set of 3 workshops to maximise live interaction

When registering via the Whova ANC platform, kindly take into account that we would wish to give priority for the workshops to those taking the specialty exam.

Therefore, you can either opt to register for the plenary sessions only, or to register for the plenary sessions and workshops.
