ISN Frontiers: Kidney Disease and Cardiovascular Disease, Tokyo
February 22 - February 25
Dates: 22 – 23 Feb, 2018
The ISN is proud to present the first ever edition of ISN Frontiers focusing on Kidney Disease and Cardiovascular Disease taking place in Tokyo, February 22 to 25, 2018.
The website is packed with information on the program, venue, travel, accommodation options and more.
ISN Frontiers meetings build on the success and achievements of the ISN Nexus and Forefronts series, bringing together basic scientists, clinicians and practitioners in a unique setting. This new event format will make more cutting-edge science available to a global audience, breaking down cross-regional barriers in accessing the latest knowledge and expertise.
About the meeting
Cardiovascular disease (CVD) kills eight out of every 10 patients with early acute and chronic kidney disease (CKD) well before end-stage kidney failure. On the other hand, acute kidney injury (AKI) is one dire consequence of CVD, and in turn predisposes to future CKD and CVD. Thus, the global nephrology and cardiology communities must collaborate to better understand the interaction between kidney disease and CVD to manage patients with kidney and cardiac-related complications.
We look forward to seeing you in Tokyo!
With very best regards,
Naoki Kashihara, Hidetomo Nakamoto, Seiichi Matsuo and Kosaku Nitta
