John Feehally – Stoneygate Research Awards

Kidney Research UK are pleased to announce a new 3-year funding stream to support established researchers undertake innovative research that will advance our knowledge of kidney disease, refine current treatments or lead to new advances in the future.

Kidney Research UK are delighted to be working in partnership with The Stoneygate Trust to launch this new programme of research grants which has been established to mark the retirement of Professor John Feehally from clinical practice.

The first funding competition call under this new partnership has launched and invites applications focusing on one of the following themes:

  • Glomerular disease
  • Lifestyle changes in people with kidney disease
  • Proteinuria

Closing date for applications : Friday 25th September 2015 – 5pm

Kidney Research UK  expect to make between 3-5 awards and encourage applications for both innovation grants and project grants. A total of £600k is available for the first year’s call.
