Renal Association Administrator Vacancy

Salary: £22,723.75

Contract: Full time, permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working

Location: Bristol

The role:

This is a key role in the administration of the Renal Association, providing essential support in a variety of areas, including communication with a broad range of stakeholders, assisting with social media and website communications, maintaining accurate records, meeting administration and association membership management.

The person:

We are looking for a self-motivated administrator, someone enthusiastic and proactive with great interpersonal skills to work within our growing team. The successful candidate should have a proven record of success in business administration, excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

The post holder needs to be capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and operate as a strong team player. You will be expected to work under pressure to meet deadlines and remain focused in an evolving environment.

The Renal Association:

Founded in 1950, The Renal Association is a charity that aims to improve lives by supporting professionals in kidney care and research.

Areas of focus for the organisation include:

  • Supporting delivery of all aspects of kidney research
  • Nurturing professional development of clinicians and researchers in the kidney community
  • Working in partnership with patients, carers and organisations to promote patient engagement and involvement in their own healthcare
  • Delivering evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to drive excellence in the care of patients with kidney disease
