Think Kidneys: KQuIP Programme Update

KQuIP  has successfully delivered 5 regional QI days so far across the UK. KQuIP is now working closely with all of these regions in order to support and embed QI within day to day practice. In order to do this KQuIP has designed a QI methodology and education package to follow on from each of the regional days. All the regions involved have signed up to this model and there is a dedicated regional programme manager funded through Kidney Care UK that will be supporting each region in the delivery of one of the KQuIP national priority projects; Transplant First, MAGIC and Home Therapies.

KQuIP is also looking to deliver further regional days in 2018 with the South West region and a national paediatrics network already sign up. KQuIP are also in discussion with a number of regions for regional days in 2019. For more information on the regional days and example of how these days run please click here.

E-Learning Platform – The Renal Association has purchased an Elearning platform that will be free to access for all users and will link in with KQuIP to ensure free high quality training can be made available to those within the kidney community who would benefit from it. More information to follow in the coming months.

UK Kidney Week – KQuIP will have three interactive pop up sessions for each of the national priority projects. The exact times are to confirmed, however MAGIC will be on Tuesday 19th June in the morning session. Home Therapies will be the morning session on Wednesday 20th June with Transplant First in the evening session of the Wednesday. Please visit the sessions to find out more about the fantastic work going on with KQuIP and across the UK. More details are to follow shortly.
