Data & permissions

The Renal Association manages two databases - the UK Renal Registry (UKRR) and

the National Registry of Rare Kidney Diseases (RaDaR).

The UKRR database comprises several datasets (CKD clinical, lab AKI, COVID-19CKD patient measures and NHS England quality dashboard).

The CKD clinical dataset is linked with NHS Blood and Transplant, NHS Digital, Public Health England and NHS Wales Informatics Service.

These datasets and linkages enable the Renal Association to perform its audit function and some of the datasets are also available for research.

Details about the data available from the RaDaR dataset are available here
