RPG joins the Renal Association

We’re pleased to have recently welcomed the UK Renal Pharmacy Group (RPG) into the Renal Association after their full integration on 1st of January 2021.

The RPG was set up in 1982 to facilitate high-quality education, training and research for pharmacists involved in provisions of pharmaceutical care to patients with renal disease.

They also actively contribute to, and promote, national policies, pharmaceutical research, and audit and innovation in renal medicine and pharmacy practice.

Pharmacists can continue to join the RPG as members via the Renal Association website, the RPG now have their own microsite, and all RPG members are integrated into our contacts database and management system.

Collaborative working has been, and will continue to be, of significant mutual benefit and many recent achievements for the wider kidney community have come through joint initiatives. We look forward to supporting the RPG on the outputs of their sub-groups and working closely with their team.
